Small Group Questions

1In Acts 9, we hear the conversion story of Saul. In your community group, take time to share your testimony with one another. Rejoice in the grace of God that saves. Who was it that that Lord used to bring you to saving faith? What were the circumstances of your life when you encountered Jesus?

What does Acts 9:1-2 indicate about Saul’s attitude toward Christ and toward His followers?
3Jesus accuses Saul twice of persecuting Him (9:4 and 9:5). Do you think Saul thought he was persecuting Jesus? Why or why not?
4Do you have stories of those who were once hostile to the name of Christ but now are proclaiming the name of Christ? Share one of these stories with your community group. How can telling the stories of God’s grace at work in and through people’s lives be an encouragement for us to press on in the faith? 
5In Acts 9:15-16, we see the specific call of God on Saul’s life. In your own life, what has/is God calling you to do? How can you be a Spirit-empowered witness in your stage and situation of life?
