ROMANS 6

1. The Problem—Should Christians continue in sin? ^{_{(vv. 1-2)}}
2. Remember that as a Christian you have been changed ^{_{(vv. 3-10)}}
   • Christians have been baptized into the death of Christ
   • Christians have been buried with Christ through baptism into death
   • Christians have been raised with Christ to walk in new life
   • Christians have been united with Christ in his death and resurrection
   • The Christians old man was crucified with Christ so that it may no longer dominate us
3. How to live when you are dead ^{_{(vv. 11-14)}}
   • Know that you have been changed. You are no longer under sin’s control. You are a new creation through Jesus
   • Consider what you know to be true about what Jesus has done for you and continually believe it
   • Choose to make choices that are in line with your new identity. Instead of offering your body to sin, offer your body to God
