1. How would you define goodness?
2. What are some ways that you have experienced God’s goodness in your life?
3. Read Psalm 119:68, I John 1:5 and Luke 18:18-19. Mark 10:17-18. What do they reveal about God’s goodness?r life?      
4. Read James 1:17. James reveals two truths about God’s goodness.
   • Everything comes from God. How would you define “good” in that statement? See Matthew 7:9-11 and Acts 14:17
   • God is always good to us. How would your prove that? What verses would you use?
5. What circumstances do you struggle to believe that God is good to you?
   • Do you believe that everything He has allowed in your life is for your good? Why or why not?
   • Do your attitudes, thoughts, words, and actions consistently reveal faith in God’s goodness to you? Or are there things you think, say, or do that betray doubt in God’s goodness?
   • How are we to understand God being good when bad things happen?
6. God reveals Himself in Scripture as a good Father. Is there anything that prevents you from viewing Him in this way?
